Black People did not ask for a Juneteenth holiday. We have celebrated Junetenth since 1866 and were not, are not soliciting the input of white people.

We want JUST laws already on the books to be enforced and we want to be treated 100% of the time like American citizens, 100% of the time.

America was framed in thought with good values at its core. The problem is America’s white men have never believed in those values, supported those values, or coveted those values for anyone other than himself.

Collective Black People want the roots of systematic racism that are attachted to every American tree uprooted and permanently destroyed.

We want the police to stop terrorizing our person and communities. We want the Department of Education to stop terrorizing our minds and we demand that western religion end the terrorization of our spirit.

This blog is a continuance of my expression as a free woman. Here, I PEN my thoughts, lessons, revelations and ponders as I move closer to the absolute freedom my spirit and soul needs and desires. My views are a compilation of my experiences, perceptions, feelings and intuitions. Raw. Real. Relevant. Riveting. At times poetic, scholarly, whimsical and spiritual. Other times, political and socially conscious and aware provoking change, compassion, outrage or action. I am loyal only to expression and the pen. View all posts by Penned!
